Enjoy a historic evening at Drake Well!

Friends of Drake Well, Inc., invites you to its fourth annual Oil Boom Historic Dinner! The dinner will be held on Thursday, September 25th, at Drake Well Museum and Park. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a "social hour" followed by opening remarks and dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Dinner will feature delectable dishes made from the recipes of real people who lived in Titusville during the late 19th century. Some of the fine folks from Titusville's past will join us for dinner, including Ida Tarbell's mother, Esther! Join us for this unique event and learn what it was like to live in the region's oil boom days!

This event is a fundraiser for the David L. Weber Internship, a historical research internship for graduate students. The internship will be administered by Friends of Drake Well, the non-profit organization that actively supports Drake Well Museum and Park and Historic Pithole City in partnership with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

Tickets are $75 each and include dinner and one (1) complimentary drink from Before the Barrel Distillery, featured at the event. Dinner is catered by The Titusville Mill.

Seating is limited! Purchase your tickets today! For more information, contact Emily Weaver, executive director of Friends of Drake Well, at 814-827-2797 or c-emilywea@pa.gov.
